Norway, Sweden and many other countries offer free post-secondary education for all citizens and people don't have a problem finding employment. So why wouldn't it work here? There will always be people that don't go to college bc they don't want to. But I think that everyone that wants to go, should be able to go...The more college-educated people we have, the more competitive we will be in the world market.

i think if i looked up the term "straw man" in an encyclopedia it would have Phony's picture as an illustration.
President Obama said no such thing (surprise, surprise!) That must have been the voices in your head, old boy.
What he actually talked about was that a high school diploma isn't enough in the career world these days, and that we must ensure that college is affordable for those who go. He also pointedly said that colleges and universities have a responsibility to control costs.

But, Amphy, don't you think that we should have "JOBS" for these young Einsteins after they graduate from their "FREE" education????
And, if Osama isn't planning on financing them, how is he going to "ensure that college is affordable"......TWIST UNIVERSITIES' PRESIDENTS ARMS?????
