Congrats, Dick!!!!! I once met a Central American guy named Epifanio Rosito de las Mercedes. That was his given name. I think you should go for something like that!! It was quite the icebreaker!!
Had lunch yesterday with a friend named Ricardo Eduardo Miguel Antonio Paolo de Zamóra. i can only remember his full name by using the mnemonic "REMAP."

LOL!!!! You know a name is long when you need a mnemonic to remember it!!!!

I just wanted to revive this thread so it didn't fall off the board. I think we're using Brant's name suggestion and going with Osama. Or do you think he'd get picked on and called an infidel in school?

If "Fidel" is an acceptable name, I don't see why "Infidel" wouldn't be a good name! Razz

Laughing Laughing Laughing Since "Christian" is a name, I think "Agnostic" or "Atheist" would be great name choices too!

I'm not sure what a "gnostic" is. My easy going ability to not give a fuuu has me in the "agnostic" category. I won't go completely athiest, but I consistently argue the athiest POV.

A Gnostic is a Christian mystic. They believe all sorts of cool chit like Jesus had a girlfriend and Judas was actually Jesus' most trusted ally and was commanded by Jesus to be the one to turn him in, and was thus not a traitor but the one who made the prophesy come true.

I think they also believe that Jesus was a Highlander and that's why he didn't die when they crucified him; you know, cause they didn't decapitate him.

Speaking of which, how much longer do you have to debate a name?

I always thought Gnosticism was interesting. It is to Christianity what Kabbalah is to Judaism.

Free, my bro inlaw married into a Greek family. They have all the Greek names on lock down. Seriously, he has a newphew named Socrates.

Due date is Feb 25 (same day as the Clapton concert). The debate is over, the name is picked out. We're keeping it a secret though. Originally, the reason for the hush-hush was because we didn't want anyone saying "I hate that name" or "thats my baby name" or any other outside influence. Now, we're realizing how much it pizzes our family off, so we're having fun tormenting them. Hint: Its a very Catholic name.
