I agree. I'll see what my wife thinks.
The latin names are also hilarious, but we have a lot of Irish/English/German/Polish roots. Maybe something like Shamus McGillicuddy Vanderhouf-ski

SOM. OK? I just think it's cool for names where the initials spell something. In bson's case, the shortened version of his first name IS his initials. (ex, Thomas O'Leary McMasters = TOM = Tom)

My last name does begin with an M. There are lots of acronyms to choose from.
If we were to go with Shamus (which we're not), it would not be spelled Seamus.

The hardest part for us was coming up with a middle name. We love the one we ended up with, but didn't decide on it until after he was born. I should mention we didn't know the gender in advance and had both a girl's and a boy's name ready, except for the middle names.

I think we muffed on the middle name... we just picked one that "flowed" off the final consonant sound of the first name... It has no significance whatsoever... therefore, I have replaced it, for all intents and purposes, with "Manbearpig"

Except the Seamus is the real spelling and Shamus is the bastardized nu-American spelling.
