No, I'm using the argument that you are united right now because the dems overwhelmed you, but that it won't last when election time rolls around. The conservative subgroups will split again.

A good example is a person in the news today, Sen. Olympia Snowe. She would make a great presidential candidate. She's intelligent, a good public speaker and someone who actually weighs issues and makes her own decisions without being beholden to so-called party leaders. But the religious right would never get on board with her, so the Republicans, fearing the wrath of the Pat Robertson-James Dobson crowd, would never nominate her. Instead, they hitch their wagons to undeniable dumbazzes like Sarah Palin.

Phoney, she is first and foremost a politition.
You will have to admit because of this health thing, she shot up from being a mediocre Senator from Maine to the top or near the top of the Senate heap.
Don't bet on how she will vote when it comes down to final passage----She is a politition so don't get your "tests" tangled in your Depends just yet over this. |
