Because one of the most destructive forces standing in the way of government health care has government health care. It calls her motives into question. If she is sincere, she would refuse this medical coverage. That she has not indicates only two possibilities: either she is an idiot or she is a liar.

Yeah, I think that all welfare should be eliminated.....every type from medical care, housing, food stamps, welfare checks, college grants, etc....on down the line....why should certain people benefit at the expense of the productive citizenry???? Then Palin should stop her government welfare.....

Do you ever listen to yourself & realize how little sense you make? What you're saying is kind of like someone saying that they are against killing animals for food, but they won't become vegetarians until everyone else stops eating meat. If you say you're against something, you should take a stand & not be any part of it. It's especially hypocritical bc it's not like they are poor. They have money! Palin won't take responsibility for her own family.

Wouldn't the child's grandmother be demonstrating at least a shred of integrity by refusing to stir up support from the cult of Palin with lies about government health care 'death panels' when she's apparently fine with her only grandchild being dependent upon government run health care?

| It isn't gov run health care its an Indian tribe. Now last I heard they aren;t required to pay income tax. And to answer your question, Levi made enough money to support his own child. After all he has been seen on the red carpet with many F-list celebrities and that photo spread probably put a few bucks in his pocket. I can see the complaint if Tripp was collecting Welfare but this one is digging a little deep even for the most ardent of Palin haters. |

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is US government run and is actually truly socialized medicine (i.e. the government owns the facilities and employs the doctors, nurses, etc.)
If folks can't see the hypocrisy here, it's because they're not willing to see clearly.
