Who knows? He was never asked to. Its not like Tripp is on the government program because they asked Levi first and he said no. It was never up to him. Tripp went on to government health care the day he was born.

Who said anything about reneging on any 'treaty'? Phony needs to get his glasses checked. Or more likely his brain.
Dazes seemed to be saying IHS was tribally owned. It's not. In fact, IHS truly IS socialized medicine, unlike what's being proposed for HCR.
Topsy turvy - folks on the right see socialism where there is none, but deny what actually is socialism. Palin rails against HCR as socialization of medicine (which it isn't), predicting the sky will fall, yet has no problem with her only grandson relying on socialized medicine, and her irrational fans can't see the contradiction. 
It isn't Palin that's scary to the Left - it's the willful myopia of people who can't see through her obviously false facade.

| Hypocritical? Like Al Gore preaching global warming and carbon footprints, flying everywhere in a private jet and having everyone in his house driving an SUV? Or is it more like when he runs his household using more electricity than many small towns hypocritical? Maybe more like John Edwards talking about two kinds of America and then screwing the help to prove he is for the other side. Get used to it they are all do as I say and not as I do! |

Hmmm. Perhaps you should re-read my post if you think i was saying the same thing as you. My point was different from yours. And as long as the ignorant are still buying her obviously false line, it's fair game to point it out. i don't see how it's bashing a public figure to point out the blatant contradictions that her followers pretend don't exist.

As far as our treatment of Indians in the West was concerned, that wasn't really a "sale." We sort of seized the land. But the fact remains that Palin's grandkid is taking advantage of socialized medicine.

I suppose you know so much more. They were forced on to reservations and told the US government would take care of them. Right? How many of the tribes signed treaties agreeing to this and the US signed s well. |
