Is Carter the one on the radio this morning saying he knew he shouldn't have been out there because he was hobbled?

Well he wasn't hurt until after that collision in the game, unless I'm thinking of someone else. But he got stuck out there knowing he wouldn't be able to cover and got burnt.

I'm 12-3 right now. If the Colts win tonight, I'll be 13-3, same as last week.

It's ridiculous how accurate he is so far... I thought FOR SURE that Pitt was going to beat Chi-town yesterday.

I'll wait til I've stayed this good through the first 8 or so weeks before I starting bragging. Still, the first two weeks are the hardest. If I don't let it go to my head, I should be able to get around 10 or 11 right every week from this point on. I think 9 or 10 was my average last year.

I'm bound to hit one or two weeks where I'm way off though. If I stay at about a 70% level, I'll be happy. A win tonight keeps me above 80% which is unreal.

Yeah, that sucks. He said he thought about calling a timeout to get off the field but didn't. I don't know if I would have done differently either. Time outs are like water in the desert when you play games that close. You can just go wasting them willy nilly. Even in hindsight, you don't know if he doesn't get spelled by someone else who lets the exact same play happen.

One thing I have always liked about Jeff Reid-he never blames turf, weather, the holder, the snap or anything. He simply says "I missed".

Yeah, he's a standup guy.

Even when he is beating the crap out a paper towel dispenser at Sheetz at 2AM in a whiskey fueled rage?

Sorry, but Jeff Reed is NOT a stand up guy. He might say the right things to the press, but he is a giant douche.
