Tough loss today guys. You probably feel like poop right now. If it makes you feel better, my team hasn't won the Super Bowl since I was in like 2nd grade. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

Ooops, I didn't mean to submit that until after it was official. Now you'll probably get a winning TD on a runback and I'll look like a horse's patoot. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

No! Wonder what this does with his contract negotiations? I read where they are partially blaming the field conditions. But isn't he the one who kicked the game winner at Heinz field that messy, messy game? _________________ -amom

Yeah, the Steelers don't get to use field conditions as an excuse. To Reed's credit, he did not say that the field was the reason he missed. He said it was hit fault, plain and simple. I also have to say that if he hadn't shanked the second kick, I'm not sure it wouldn't have been blocked anyway. There were a lot of hands over the middle. _________________ The end is nigh! I agree there was a good chance of a blocked kick. Also, when I said "they" I should have mentioned that it was not Reed's excuse, but those anonymous "theys" out there. _________________ -amom

REED is a great kicker,,the steelers need to start putting games away. if every game is going to be left up to reed to win or lose they are in trouble. just think they could very well be 0-2.BB |

a game is a game is a game. , actually the guy replacing Troy screwed up twice, #23. for td's.
In all honesty, it begins in pre-season.(especially games) All done there mostly azz backwards by the whole league. |

Yeah, Polamalu was greatly missed over the middle...and really everywhere in that game. I think the Steelers would have won handily with him. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

When Chi scored that second Td and 23 was standing behind the guy that caught the ball, Did you notice Troy's grimace and lips moving as he stared out toward #23? |

Carter (#23) is a good guy to have on special teams, but I thought we'd see more of Ryan Mundy... especial after that helmet to helmet collision of Carter and Olsen.
Tyrone Carter has been in the league for ten years now and his legs aren't what they once were. Last year, David Garrard broke a long TD run on the Steelers because he was pulling away from him.... And Garrard is hardly a speedster. |
