Although I was pretty young, I can remember watching the TV series. And liking it! I also watched Perry Mason.
But just so you don't think I had a weird childhood, I also watched this:

OK, so that confirmed I had a weird childhood! _________________ -amom

Don't feel weird, amom, I can still remember Cecil shouting - "I'M coming, Beany Boy !!!"
I absolutely loved I Spy, and remember my dad railing about the uppity negra actin like a hero...(God, how times have changed) I also remember Culp as a guest in my other favorite series, Columbo.
But if you're feeling old today, this cartoon should make you feel young again...

We just made four trips to and from the airport (2:00 p.m. Sunday; 11:30 p.m. Friday; 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday). None during mid-day, but I don't recall any construction from 79 at 519 to the airport. Other than an auto accident, there was no backup at all. You should have no problems. _________________ -amom

Free, I used to yell that to my kids when they needed me for something! I don't think they ever understood where I was coming from.
And I don't remember the rabbit cartoon very well, but it does look vaguely familiar. I'm going to have to clear out some cobwebs and think about it a bit more. Hmmmm _________________ -amom

I was also a big fan of Beanie and Cecil, and I watched a lot of Crusader Rabbit back in the day. _________________

amom, talk about dustin' off the cobwebs...woohoo...remember Heckle and Jeckel, a rip-off of Amos & Andy...? And Mighty Mouse, and Atom Ant...? These characters all morphed into Scooby-Doo and Sponge-Bob and South Park. But their motivation has remained the same -- exposing the evils of greed and corruption, and urging children to be tolerant and charitable....
One early cartoon that's dogging my brain, was an ant in love with a grasshopper, and he threw bricks at her...Can't remember the name... _________________ where-ever you get it - there you have it. - Anon. |
