I took these pics at THE giant eagle this past weekend... Sad thing is, they probably sell a chit-ton of the half gallons at 2 for 7 bucks:

When I was a girl scout, I used to sell the cookies individually at school, since most of the kids couldn't afford to buy the whole box. I would sell one cookie for 10 cents & two for a quarter!!! Most kids went for the bargain...two for a quarter!!

The difference is the half gallons are ultra-pasteurized. The gallons are not.

When I was a kid, I lived in the "metropolis" of Claysville. As such, I had easy access to the store with all the gum and penny candy, and the kids who lived in the country did not. So, in junior high, I started buying candy and gum, and resold it at a tidy profit to my country cousins. My mother made me stop because, in her words, "people are going to think you're selling dope." I don't know where she thought an 11-year-old was going to get "dope" in Claysville. I think she saw too many news reports on Woodstock.
