Perhaps started a little late, but what were your favorite movies in 2009?
I didn't see as many as I normally do and thought the pickings were a little dry last year anyway, but here's my list of movies I thought were among the top:
The Soloist
Star Trek
Drag Me to Hell
Up
Harry Potter and the Whatever Episode this Is
Let the Right One In
Pandorum
In fairness, I haven't seen (yet):
District 9
Avatar
Sherlock Holmes
Inglourious Basterds
Capitalism
Zombieland
Where the Wild Things Are
The Fantastic Mr. Fox
Invictus
And I would assume at least a lot of those will also be on my list when I do see them. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

Of that entire list, I saw only "Up" (which was fantastic!) and the "Harry Potter" movie (also very good). We went to the drive in a few times, but I'll be darned if I remember what movies we saw. _________________ -amom

I haven't seen any of Cy's nominees. I pretty much only watch movies at home any more, which keeps me behind on my pop culture. Regardless, the best movie I've seen in a longazz time is "The Hangover". Hopefully that qualifies as '09. That chit was hilarious! _________________
