Already did. Some people think it's not worth voting because we're not casting ballots for president, Congress or even county commissioner, but we ARE picking jurists for the top courts in Pennsylvania.

Yes, I'm going to vote. As a Westmoreland County resident, I know of a judge that I plan on voting for. Other than that, I have no idea what else is on the ballot.

I think, in elections such as todays, we tend to put the wrong people into office by NOT voting. Voter apathy is one reason we have had to suffer four more years of the world's worst governor!
And yes, I will vote.

The local elections for mayor, council members, supervisors, and school directors more directly affect you than the state and federal positions. I agree with SSSS that voter apathy is how a lot of these local positions get filled. Rolling Eyes

When I voted this morning for the 22nd time at the same location, and with the same six elderly people working, I again had to spell my name three or four times and I'm sure they still had it wrong. LOL. I just think it's funny.

AND, like I've mentioned in past elections, there is a polling place at my place of employment. The ladies there are not busy enough due to a low turnout so instead have been, well, the only word for it is, "cackling" all day. Next time, I swear I'll take a vacation day!

amom-I used to work where people voted-it was a real pain walking in four or five times a day and having pamplets, ice scrapers, sticky note pads, etc.. shoved in my face. I would just announce "false alarm" and go in to work.
