I think Seneca is one of the most intelligent judges we have ever had. What this boy needs for a successfull appeal is a better lawyer. SLow Noah is not all that bright! _________________

I think Noah's a very good lawyer, but I agree that it's ridiculous to blame the judge when, if what I'm reading is true, this was a jury filled with nincompoops. _________________

Noah's dad was good-but I sure would never want my fate resting in Noah's hands. He should stick to the piano. _________________

When I did jury duty, I felt like every single person in there was competent, clear on the rules, and fair. We got selected from a very large group of people and the ones who were sketchy were sent home. One old guy sitting next to me during selection didn't want to be there. When they brought him up to talk to him, they said, "this is a civil suit." He responded by saying, "well, all civil suits are frivolous." He didn't end up being on the jury.
What I'm trying to get at despite my ADD's attempts at stopping me is I might have to blame whoever was in charge of jury selection for this one. If the jury was really that ridiculous, I'm shocked that that many tools made it on there. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! if i had to leave my fate in any attorney thats connected to the courthouse it would be robert brady. however noah is one who has taken cases at no charge to get justice from the ones who were represented by the public pretenders office.he sure as hell is not stupid, and just because the jury did not find him guilty in the washington co court system in one day does not make them nincompoops.BB |

That's not what I said at all. It's the other allegations in the story, if true, that make the jurors, at least some of them, nincompoops. _________________

Well BB if you think Noah is that great use him next time. And I agree that Brady is the best criminal lawyer in WashPA. But you will not see him take free cases! _________________

Bob Brady did something for me once... but I don't need to get into that. I will say that, yes, Brady is the man. I used to deliver him his Observer-Reporter.
I pretty much agree with Cylinser. During jury selection, this guy should've been weeded out. He seems to have some confidence issues from what I'm picking up in the article. I don't know that this is something that can always be detected in jury selection though. Its just a chitty situation, and a lot of extra tax dollars spent. _________________

If it was one guy, then yeah, I accept that sometimes they slip through the cracks. But if the story is accurate, then not a single person on that jury should have been in there, and to let an entire jury get by that doesn't understand how to do their duty is inexcusable and embarrassing. Retrials cost money after all. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |
