It mattes to me. Why neuter the bill for a 14-9 vote when you could have had the real thing at 13-10?

People calling in are equal parts reasonable (single payer) and equal parts retarded... they just put up an email from someone decrying a public option because it will put insurance companies out of business... he said "you can't compete with free"

The sooner private insurance companies go out of business, the better. If that's the driving argument against single payer, it sucks.
