Yes I would to honor their past service. It would be a nice touch if they were elected, and the Councils can rather easily appoint someone else to the position in January.

When there are only two candidates on a ballot, I often cast my vote against one of them... rather than for one of them. So my answer is yes.
Its sorry to say, but most elections look like this:

E, that's one of my favorites too. They make fun of Puffy Daddy's "Vote or Die"... and the PETA stuff in that episode is... too racy to say on here.
