Oh, wait, I am amom.  I just wanted to bring this up to question people's common sense. The driver's side floormat on my Prius is anchored by hooks and it is really hard to remove it to clean or whatever. From what I've read on this recall, people are either not re-anchoring the mat or have an additional mat on top of the carpeted one that came with the car. But, this is like the McDonald's cups now having to note that the contents of a coffee cup are hot (duh!) If you use it the right way, there should be no problem.
