In my opinion, all ratings and polls should be ignored. I never understood how these ratings and polls are considered "NEWS"????? I've never been included in any of these. So who is the media to tell me what the pulse of the country is.
They should all be ignored. They're all skewed. |

I agree. It's more important to me how I feel about a particular president or congressman or representative. I don't tend to always go with the majority or jump on the nearest bandwagon. _________________ -amom

Well WE don't care what YOU want. |
YOU just want OUR money, WE want to keep OUR money away from the government. Since YOU don't care why don't YOU pay the higher taxes and subsidize the deadbeats and WE will keep OUR money. _________________ George |

Fascinating story. Has nothing to do with reality. If you really wanted to keep your money and stop subsidizing deadbeats, you would be in favor of a public option, not against it. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

Because it doesn't work that way? Why don't you stop paying the taxes you don't like and I'll stop paying the taxes I don't like and everyone else can come visit the two of us in jail? _________________ The end is nigh! We have that now with medicaid and it is bankrupting the counrty. At least those onmedicare paid into the program for years before thay could even use it. When you subidize these programs they end up costing more and more every year. The same thing will happen with the "public option" which will end up being subsidized medicine like medicaid. _________________ George |

The reason health care costs so much is because of the burden of paying for the uninsured. Insuring everyone brings costs down for everyone, including you. Really, there is a possibility that a public option will make things worse if it is not handled correctly because there will still be some left uninsured. You're making a great argument for single payer, and its a shame we never even tried to put that on the table. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Iran and N. Korea seem to be operating out of the same playbook. The thing is they have more enemies than friends right now and both seem to be smart enough to know initiation would end in destruction for them and sane enough to not be suicidal yet. _________________ The end is nigh! we need to address health care cost in order to lower the cost of insurance. Since the governemt is now setting a cap on salaries for financial firms I suggest a cap on how much money hospital and their staffs can make. Set prices for every type of surgery, blood test, MRI, Xray cat scan or patient care. The insittute tort reform to cap mal practice awards. If the government had balls these would ahve been done years ago. Since clinics can do the same things for much less cost they should open more clinics and limit ER's to lifethreatening cases only reducing the overall ER cost and lowering the cost of health care. _________________ George |

You do this by aggregating the insurance into single payer... if the single payer will only pay 150 bucks for an MRI, then an MRI costs 150 bucks. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |
