You really don't understand context, do you? Blacks are not a minority in Haiti either. But people were saying that the Dems made a big deal about Haiti bc they're black & they want the black vote. I was pointing out that Chileans are Hispanic. So if the Dems just sent help for votes, they would've sent more help to Chile to get Hispanic votes...Hispanics ARE a minority here, in the US. |

Phony----LMAO!!!! As usual, you have no idea what you're talking about...The only thing that you said that's right, is that most Hispanics are good people. Since when are Hispanics conservative? Most Hispanics are Democrats. The less than 30% that vote Republican are mostly the Evangelicals or the rich. Obama got almost 70% of the Hispanic vote & his approval rating is still at around 70% amongst Hispanics...And the only leacher here is you, the welfare queen. I have never received or even applied for government assistance...Not even when I was told that I should bc I was eligible...Maybe you should do the same & stop taking money from the government, while complaining about people taking money from the government. I don't take money from the government, I give money to the government w/o bitching & whining, like a little girl...

They aren't getting federal funds now so they can't "continue" to get them. |
A Congressman on a recent news show said he felt they would be getting the funds restored. don't recall the channel or the congressman other than he was a republican. |

It has to do with the economic viablilty of the tow countries. Chile has a good economy, Hati has no economy. I wonder how many countries will rush to our aid when the big one hits California. That state is broke now and for the most part so is the US. |

Printing and borrowing are what got us to where we are now. As far as the wars, we could have just nuked both areas if we wanted to save money. |

I said on my original post that the reason why we gave more money to Haiti is that it's a poor country & Chile is not.

Read today this money thing is about to get to the point where $100 bills will be replacing $20 bills in ATM Machines, and that is good as it saves time counting your withdrawal to make sure the thing dispensed the right amount. |
