Actually, dick, when I went to school, the girls danced with girls....it got to the point where they became so pizzed off that they asked our principal to have the guys attend dance classes, (with each other) and then upon "graduating" from the class, make it mandatory that we dance with the girls......

Back when I went to school the prom dates had to be boy/girl. Now at our local school's prom, the ticket is sold to a "couple," but it doesn't matter if it's boy/girl, girl/girl or boy/boy. Most times, a kid just wants to go to the prom to have fun and selects a friend to share the costs. What difference does it make? Really.
