but the AP poll this morning has Congress' approval rating at 22%-that is sad.

With the exception of 9/11, Congress has always been terrible in approval ratings.

It has been lower a few times. Once during the early 90's and once in the 70's it was below 20.

It's a matter of a legislative body having 533 people that I didn't vote for...

Yeah, I think if you could measure just approval ratings based on asking each person what they think of their own Senator and Reps, you would see ratings in the 60, 70, or even 80 ranges.

Let's not forget that almost half of the Congressmen are Republican...So the low approval ratings reflect badly on BOTH parties!
