Pretty sure I predicted something like this would happen. I said that the far right was hoping we would perform poorly at the Olympics so they could blame it on Obama somehow. Well, we didn't, but Limbaugh at least has the hockey game to gripe about.

Huh? President Obama was getting a physical and has passed pretty much with flying colors except his Chlorestral was 209 and he needs to stop smoking.
He appears to not have even watched the game, and Rush is really the azz that needs to watch his health(remember Hawaii) and Rush taking stupid pills (you potheads know what drugs he takes) does not qualify as "health care". |

I was rooting for USA... but my eyes were on #87 every time he was out there. This was actually my preferred outcome. Another chapter in the Crosby legacy. I had a similar reaction.

BTW, the medal breakdowns for hockey were identical between the women and men. Golds for Canada, silvers for USA, and bronzes for Finland.

Thats definitely one of the reasons why I was so happy. More hockey hardware for Sid over Ovechkin's 50 goals on 500 shots. But believe me, if that were Mike Richards or Chris Pronger (Flyers) I would be disgusted.

Ever? Lindros gets my "all-time" vote. Derian Hatcher is pretty high on the list also. Pronger is up there though.

Was Lindros ever any good, dick, i have his rookie card and he was supposed to be the next Bobby Orr, but never heard much about him because I only followed the Pens and never paid any attention any person on the other teams, doing that a lot in all sports it seems.
Mostly because not many are on the team or in the league on the second trip around it seeems. |
