This goes back to what I've been saying for a long time.....
1. Return classroooms to the teachers.
2. Get rid of the piece of chit TEACHERS UNION.
3. Throw out the A.C.L.U., N.A.A.C.P., AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
4. Rid the curriculum of all that phony LIBCHIT "touchy feely" chit.
5. Go back to the teaching of the basics. _________________ Exposing the secular humanist liberal "progressives". |

Bus, I know you're joking...Air traffic control is better now than it was before.
And Phony, get ready for a shockeroo...I agree totally. The teacher should be lord of the classroom, no questions asked.
For a couple years I worked as a volunteer tutor for Odyssey of the Mind program. Now mind you, these were good smart kids...but I could not believe how rude they were. Finally, I elevated the loudest boy against the wall and reminded him that I was not getting paid for this, so i had nothing to lose, and if he didn't shut his effing mouth, I'd teach him what a bum's rush is.....Order was restored, and we took third place at the competition.
It doesn't matter how much you pay the teacher...If you tie their hands with red tape, and threaten them with costly lawsuits, nothing will ever change _________________ where-ever you get it - there you have it. - Anon. |

Exactly, and I compliment you on the action you took....
Each time we hear of a report about the failings of our education system, the teachers' union and the other libchit slimeballs yell, "we need more money".....Money does not teach......and when those very same jackasses began with their sicko programs to "improve" our education system, the schools began their downhill slide.... _________________ Exposing the secular humanist liberal "progressives". |

Hmm, I like the RUDE/MEDIAN/CALM idea. And parents have to, have to, teach their children to respect even the poorest of teachers. I always told mine to let me fight the classroom battles when it comes to the teachers. Not as a helicopter parent, but to hear both sides of an issue and attempt a resolution without going "higher up." _________________ -amom

E, it was at McGuffey, in the 90's or oughts, I don't remember. Mrs.Harris was the administrator. We did an artistic display, then left immediately and basically snuck into the carnegie museum of natural history.
And there WAS no third place. I lied to the kids, to keep up their spirits...
And the boy I jacked-up ? Now has his own internet business.
I maintain my position that a classroom should be treated like an independent nation where the rule of law is suspended, and fear is a functional tool _________________ where-ever you get it - there you have it. - Anon. |

Parents don't have to do anything but encourage their kids to become educated, productive citizens......my generation had no one, for the most part, to help with school work, let alone ensure that they "respect" their teachers....
My teachers made sure that we knew the rudimentaries of "respect", with the threat of certain types of punishment......
My dad and mom, both, worked sunrise to sunset......no time to devote to "teaching".....TEACHING was the teachers' domain, not the parents'. _________________ Exposing the secular humanist liberal "progressives". |
