I posted this under entertainment, because that's really what local TV "news" really is. Tonight, during a commercial break, David Johnson of WPXI comes on to pimp the 10 o'clock news and says, "The state House passes a cell phone ban. We're finding out what it means for Pennsylvania drivers." Yo, dummy, it doesn't mean a damn thing until the Senate concurs and the governor signs the bill. Shameless self-promotion + stupidity = local TV news.

It's a "Teaser", Brant, they have to say something to get you to watch their news. Like the cutie in high school who wants something from you and says meet me somewhere.
In the tv case you get what you thought you were going to get from her.
