I forget where the thread is that we were discussing this. I remember some uninformed Conan-hater saying that he wasn't going to take care of his staff. Well...

And the story I saw said that Conan was going to use some of his payoff to add to what the network was paying in severance. And if he gets a new show later this year, I'm guessing a lot of those people will be back working with him. Hey, they get a nice severance, plus unemployment and will have the summer off. Things could be worse. And Conan is coming out of this whole mess looking like the good guy, in my opinion.

Fox will probably pick him up. They don't have a weeknight evening show and would probably be giddy about the audience that comes built in with O'Brien. Plus they tend to be more lax with programming and some of O'Brien's gags like the masturbating bear will fit in well there.

Sorry, the bear, Triumph, "The Year 2000", etc are all intellectual properties of NBC. None of our favorites will be following Conan to Fox or where ever.
