Things that are just plain dumb or ridiculous. I'll start:

It is illegal for a US citizen to smoke a Cuban Cigar. Not just in the US, anywhere in the world! If you are a US citizen, you are technically forbidden from smoking a Cuban cigar even if you vacation to Europe or Asia or South America...or anywhere. Not that they can do anything about it.

The Cuban embargo is one of the stupidest things that our government refuses to let go of. The only ones who are hurt are rank-and-file Cubans.

The law was only put in place in 2004. Before that, it was only illegal to have a Cuban within the states.

The exact wording is that you are not legally allowed to bring one into the country or purchase one outside it as an American citizen unless it was here prior to the embargo. So if you come across one already within the country, its not illegal to smoke it. However, somebody still broke the law bringing it here and if they are a US citizen, they broke it when they acquired it where they started from.

Just saying, just because its not explicitly stated that you can't legally smoke one doesn't mean you can legally smoke one.
