Here's a pic of my two boys...They're getting old, but they're still cute!

Her favorite toy seems to be her own tail so far, although she's become attached to glittery little pom poms you can buy in craft stores, as has every cat I've ever seen.

She's goofy too. She acts all skittish except when you stop trying to pick her up, then she follows you around and yells at you. I think she just likes to play keep away. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

Lol. He's like, "I got on this table and there's no turkey, so what are you going to do about it?" _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

He got up there with one giant leap. He's one helluva jumper. This was taken when he was a pup, and fortunately he doesn't do that anymore. _________________

I hope we can move somewhere where we have space for a dog one day. My wife has really wanted one more than me for a while. I had been leaning towards the Akita myself (valuing their loyalty plus I'm a Japan geek) but my wife was leaning more towards a Clumber Spaniel. Recently, though, I've been thinking a lot about the Border Collie as a potential pup.
Before we were married, my wife's landlord had a mutt that was mostly BC and he was a sweetie. It was sad because he got hit by a motorcycle a few weeks before she moved out. The guy on the cycle actually got the worst of it, but the dog had severe road rash and was pretty messed up for a while. My wife helped nurse him back to health before she moved out. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

Border Collies are very intelligent, but if you want loyalty go with a Lab-can't beat em. _________________

Yeah, some in my family have had labs and they've always been great dogs. Akitas are supposed to be especially loyal but also stubborn and standoffish, so there's a tradeoff. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

So its taken some getting used to with Kali being not like Freya. She's a little noisier and more standoffish, which I don't like. But what I do like is she harasses the hell out of my other cat which Freya didn't do. Keep in mind that my other cat, Tao, is like 2+ ft head to tail and a good 15 pounds at least. Kali, like 1 pound, chases him all around the house and won't leave him alone. She's a little tiger! _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact!
