I don't listen to Rush anymore and haven't since Clinton took office the first time, but I think he has always said that he does this for the money. His schtick has always been the power of Capitalism and talks about talent on loan from God. He is entertaining to those how like to have their opinions validated. He is entertainment and too direct this much anger at him, seems a bit stupid. You don't listen to him, so how do you know what he says. You think he is a bum, then don't listen and don't waste your time thinking that he somehow speaks for the Rep. party, because he doesn't .

I explained that even though I don't listen to Rush, I have heard many clips from his show over the years. Rush is supposed to be an entertainer. The problem is that there are many people out there that don't see him as such. I don't know where you live, but down here in GA, there are people that take Rush's word to heart as if it was the Sunday sermon. Many of them are not smart enough or informed enough to have any views of their own. So whatever Rush says, that's what they think. And that's really scary when the person that has that much power is advocating segregation, like Rush did a few weeks ago, and saying things like “If homosexuality being inborn is what makes it acceptable, why does racism being inborn not make racism acceptable?”!!!
