about his American Experiment Annual Dinner Remarks
A number of people have asked about the availability of an audio recording or transcript of Charles Krauthammer’s brilliant remarks at American Experiment’s 2009 Annual Dinner on June 1. We’re sorry, but Dr. Krauthammer has informed us that he does not disseminate comments made at private events. He also has advised us that a summary of his speech on the Internet is “neither accurate nor authoritative.” His full statement follows. The Center regrets any disappointment or confusion.

This account is neither accurate nor authoritative. My views on Obama are well known. I’ve explained them in a series of five columns. (See below.)
This email is somebody putting his own ideological stamp and spin on my views.
One giveaway of the superimposition of someone else's views on mine is the rather amusing use of phrases that I never use. To take just a few examples randomly: "God forbid," "far left secular progressive," “this is the first president ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies!” “no country had ever spent themselves into prosperity,” and, the real doozy,"states rights.”
My views are clearly spelled out in that series of columns and subsequent writings. Anyone who wants to know my views should consult those and not this email.

The operative word is "Talk", Cy. As you see, Obama is not a fat man and almost in every non-fat man, you will see they almost always have their mouths going, thus they never leave a moment to eat and since the mouth is going, they are not smart either; this is because as every thought is being projected outwardly, nothing is coming in to feed and fuel the brain. ergo, resulting in "brain death".
The result is they are neither fat nor smart. How many do you know or have known, like that?
Makes me think of the "Night Shift" movie scene where Michael is in the morgue bin and keeps playing that tape,"CHUCK SAYS SHUT-UP" over and over.

Well, do you want to know what Obama is going to do to fix our mess or not? If you want to know, you have to listen to him talk. This reminds me of the line from Wedding Crashers: "You shut your mouth when you're talking to me!"

C'mon, Bammer, tax those friggen imports. how in the hell can they send our products back here, and even with all shipping cost , still be cheaper then we make them here?, which is an effing? lie. They ARE NOT less expensive to the American consumer, they cost more . Despite paying coolies and peons slave wages we pay as much if not more for those items, the only one making out are the Outsourced producers, the American company, the retailer, and the sales tax receipients(Gov.)The coolies, peons, and the consumers are getting screwed. |

I dunno what the bonuses amount to... but as far as being "nice paychecks"... I would think that this represents a significant pay cut for some of these people... Those salaries are certainly not ridiculously high...
Would it make a difference if they got paid 80 grand a year?

From my previous experience as an HR Director who was required to review DOL listings of average salaries in various industries, those salaries are not exorbitant. These folks could easily make much more than that in the private sector.
