Out of curiosity, what game systems does everybody on here have if any and what games do you play (either by genre or specifically)?

I have a PS3 in the current generation of consoles and play a lot of games on PC. Primarily FPS on PC (counter-strike source, left 4 dead, day of defeat source). On PS3 I play some sports games occasionally (Madden, NHL) but mostly stick to action games. I tend to do most of my online gaming on the PC and stick to single player story driven games on the console, but I will possibly play Final Fantasy XIV online on the PS3 when it comes out if it looks good.

I play games on iPhone and we have a PS2... which is solely for guitar hero... but we rarely use it.

I have a 360 and just replaced NHL with Madden 10. I won't buy or play another game for... probably the next 10 months. Now this is the addiction I'm trying to quit. Seriously, what a waste of life.

No console, no games. I am, however, addicted to reading and goofing around on the computer.

Picked up the new Beatles Rock Band the other night for our Wii. Too cool for words! I do the singing since I know the words to most of the songs already and Bson rocks the drums or guitar depending on the song. Alab whines to go outside...I can't imagine why. Rolling Eyes

I would totally get it for PS3 if it wasn't $250 and if I had friends who would play it with me. I never got into those music games though. No guitar hero or anything. They're coming out with a new one, DJ hero I think. It comes with a Turntable controller.

I don't know, not saying these games aren't a blast, but if I wanted to play music I'd learn the real instrument.

I wish more people on here had PS3's so we could hang out in Home.

I played GH a few times in game stores and while I thought it was somewhat fun, it didn't warrant me spending tons of cash for the game and extra equipment necessary to play. Again, I'd do Rock Band if I had a few friends to play it with all the time because I think the best part is not the ingenuity of the game but the camaraderie of working with other people to feel like you're making music. But I'd rather just teach myself to play guitar and join a real band. And I already have two guitars, so...

I love the fact that kids are sitting around pushing buttons on a plastic guitar! It keeps the competition thin for sh*tty musicians like me who hold on to that dream of releasing that hit single, possibly getting a song on the radio, or even just getting played in the background of a local commerical.

I've played a little guitar hero. Its fun... if you know the song.
