thanks, in Fla theydidn't put chocalate candy out unless the store had working A/C.
Ask your cousin about Redstone Candy, been around since the early 50's that I know of and we go over that way every few months to load up.
The Candy company is really located near Tower Hill#1 on the New Salem to Route 166 road. |

My cousin is actually from Cardale, very close to Republic. I only see him once every five years or so when we have a family reunion. _________________

a long long time ago, Stanly(Stush), but he would be pretty old now, this was in 1946 or so. |

He was a very handsome young man in those days and a very nice polite young man. I was only a little kid at the time and only knew of his buddies when they gathered in front of Fannie's store.
Most of them were drafted into WWll. It seems Stush was in the Navy. |
