Credenza... that's hot 
The credenza in my office is a buffet of fun... senseo coffee machine, newton's cradle clacky balls, radio, corked bottles that I got from one of our clients, and several books... If only it were in FRONT of me... I'd enjoy it more...
Anyway, cool... health topics...
I had an ingrown fingernail on my pinky finger because I bite my nails down to nubs and they grow back funny... it was swelled up to 3x normal size and hurt like hell... Last week, I finally was able to drain it... Absolutely disgusting and I almost passed out in the bathroom from the pain... but it's looking MUCH better now

I have bitten my fingernails down to nothing since I have had teeth... seriously... I specifically remember biting my nails when I was 3 years old

Holy sheeit y'all... Today is July 10th... that means it's approximately 100 days since my last cigarette...
I don't know how to celebrate  Normally, I'd go outside and smoke a square and just kinda zone out

I did too until I had to work with a product that used the chemical "lactonitrile" ,spelled wrong, but it was 50 years ago and we had no idea it caused cancer and a host of other problems. Thankfully the project was a disaster and ended fast.
Anyhow, it clinged under the fingernails(or stubs in my case) and when I went to bite the little bitsy nails, the taste of that stuff was so bad, It made me quit biting and for the first time in my life I had nails I had to clean under.
Some people rub hot pepper stuff under to try and stop, but end up burning the eyes, nose, etc worse.
E, think of something harmless but foul tasting and dab it on your nails, after a week or so, it will probably be easier then when you quit smoking. |

I dunno... I have bitten my fingernails much longer than I smoked... it's hard to stop because, unlike smoking, I'm not even aware that I am doing it.
I have no real desire to stop... so it probably won't happen
