Maybe this will help. A fellow I knew bit his nails and came down with a very nasty staph infection.

Yeah, not so much... 
Again... I am 99% unaware that I am doing it... fear of a staph infection won't work...
An ACTUAL staph infection? Maybe...

Even though you don't realize you are doing it, I'm sure those around you do. Enlist the help of everyone you know to bring it to your attention when they catch you doing it. Unless you're a closet biter.

That's another problem, though... I don't mind that I have ET fingers... It's like if I told you to enlist the help of your family to get you to put your shoes on Left and then Right instead of Right and then Left... You might be like "I don't really care which way I put my shoes on"
I have no use for fingernails... I haven't had fingernails as long as I have had teeth... And I don't regret it

I read that article right before I left for work... I think I am more affected by 2, 4, and 7... I like email better than phonecalls... because I can just ignore them for an hour or so if I am busy

Me too. Sometimes the negative nellies, but I usually shut them up right quick. Luckily I have a full wall of windows, so sunshine (when we have it!) is helpful.
