It makes us feel old when the kids are heading out of the nest, but getting old sure beats the alternative. And once the young'ns are gone, if you get the urge to parade around the house in your birthday suit, you can indulge yourself. Wink

Now that sounds good. There's little in life that can't be improved by Jack. And Spike, funny that you mention ladybugs. I opened my front door a few minutes ago, and there were a bunch of them inside the screen door. Weird.

Wow. Just got home a few minutes ago and when I turned on the light here in my computer room a ladybug flew in front of me. I have not seen any in the house in a long time.. Then I read these posts about ladybugs. I hope you are right about them being good luck.

We had a ton of them here today, too... and my grandma gets them (she lives in greene county) every year about this time... thousands of them

Are the ones you guys saw more of an orange/yellow color... rather than the traditional red/black?

Yes. It was more orange/yellow. Did you know they can bite? I found that out last year when one landed on my neck and I didn't know it until it was too late.

Whoa.Didnt know about the bite thing.I dont think that tiny iddie bittie mouth could do much damage.I also heard that if you smash one on the wall it could stain the wall and clothing AND give off a nasty smell.What the hell?Oh well.Oh, heres a good one...Our 6 year old is an innocent type.He told me about a new friend he made at school the other day.He said "His name is Sam.His last name is Yule." I said ,"Oh, thats nice."Then it hit me.You know....Samuel.I busted a nut laughing so hard.
