From what I can tell Tiger will just make a statement and will not take any questions. He may as well just sent out another email or blog like he did in November. One news channel had a headline stating"Tiger to discuss his situation". A discussion is a give and take with more that one person talking (unless its your wife).
If he dosen't take questions now, every interview he does once he returns will focus on this. I like the joke from one late night commic saying he will announce the list of 2010 mistresses! |

I completely disagree pap. An email or blog does very little to get the ball rolling on his golfing future. He has to at least get his face out in the public. I think its important to actually speak about this. No doubt, his statement will be short and well thought out. The media will crush him because they are greedy and want to bury him. The media reaction, and society's reaction this is retarded.

I'm with you on this, Pap. The media is being used to get out the carefully crafted message that Tiger wants to deliver. If I were a news person who received an invite to his speech, I'd tell him to just send me a press release. It's a totally self-serving event.

Its self-serving, but it really shouldn't be necessary. Tiger doesn't owe me, you, or the media an explanation. But this is the only way that he can continue about his life with out being hounded by cameras. He is at the point where he has to look out for himself.

Until he holds a real news conference, he's going to be hounded. Fortunately for him, I'm guessing that a lot of the golf media is so intent on maintaining good relations with him that they would toss him nothing but softball questions.

Like I said, he doesn't have to answer to us. Why should we expect any explanation to his sex life? We don't ask Roethlisberger who he slept with this weekend. He didn't do anything illegal. He didn't do anything that the PGA would suspend him for. Who cares.

I watched the network news last night... and diane sawyer was talking to two espn analysts about tiger woods... They went through the whole thing about the car wreck, then the skanks on the sly, then the rehab, then the maybe-maybe not baby mamma's... then the press conference, which is scheduled for exactly 7 weeks prior to the masters... this was all a lead up to... wait for it...
"What do you think he is doing to prepare for such an important tournament?"
Double-you-tee-eff David Blaine? Are you for cereal? That's like recapping the slow speed chase and the "trial of the century" for OJ and then saying "How do you think his bowling score has faired through this ordeal?"
How's he preparing for the golf tournament? These douche-nozzles don't know... they aren't at the range with Tiger... for all they know, he's bangin' porn stars to prep for the tournament... which is how he seems to have prepped for other tournaments 
But really... I know that this is a "story"--- but eff you in the A if you think it's news. Either cover Tiger the Golfer as Tiger the Golfer... or cover Tiger the celeb married to a supermodel who screws cocktail waitresses... But you lose something when you do tiger the celeb who is married to a supermodel who screws cocktail waitresses and is going back to tiger the golfer...
stupid.
IN other news... I caught the colbert report last night (the rerun at 7:30) and stephen said sarah palin was F*****g retarded... it was grand.

With his money , he should pick up exactly where he left off, but the downside now would be, the bimbo's will have a camera crew and soundstage , lighting, HD , Blue ray what ever , recording straight to DVD's and on/in the street or porn stores before Tiger pulls his drawers up.
