In defense of the committee in congress that decides how to alot these subsidies, raising and butchering animals has to be ten times more expensive than planting a seed and harvesting the fruits and seeds.
Still .37% for fruits and veggies is too little.

Everybody has to eat... as a food producer, your market is = to the population... Every single human being has to eat... if you can't generate revenue with 100% market penetration, then you suck at business

I definitely agree with that. I remember the first time farming subsidies were explained to me... I was floored. I couldn't stop thinking about getting paided not to produce. How do I become a farmer? How do I collect $40,000 to not milk my cows?

dick, you don't even want to know about that, you will puke your guts out. First, YOU could not get a cent( 30-40 years ago you could), second, think Haliburton or someone like that. Little dogs don't get what big dogs get. |
