looks like a link of some sort. It means that if I click on it, I open up a new page. Sounds like too much of a risk. _________________

Phony, what does this mean to you?
Quote: | Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl is considering a tax on sugar-sweetened beverages to fatten the city's pension fund and trim people's waistlines.
The tax, based on legislation Philadelphia City Council is considering, would levy a 2-cent per ounce surcharge on sweetened beverages, including soda, sports drinks, energy drinks and iced tea. That would mean an extra 40 cents for a 20-ounce soda. City officials said initial research shows the tax could generate an estimated $25 million a year in Pittsburgh.

They wouldn't put soda in school when I was still in. Its a relatively new thing. Short-lived I guess, and probably for the better.
RE: dick's story, I hope to use that as the impetus for lowering my soda intake. I drink an unhealthy amount. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |
