If you want to drive to Wheeling, Coleman's in the Center Market house has the best. I think they're open until 7 on Friday nights.

Phish is playing St Hillary?! Far out man!

I'm not a fried fish guy, but I know there are always plenty of old Polish ladies making perogies and cabbage rolls at St. Hillary. Its okay to eat fish because they don't have any feelings.

My mom was a nutritionalist at the Canonsburg hospital. So, at a very young age I learned my food groups. Fish was always included in the "meat" group. Then, I go to my Catholic Sunday school classes and they say "No meat on Sunday!... or you'll burn in hell for eternity" Twisted Evil . This was the beginning of the end for me and religion.

I asked someone why you could eat fish and not meat at certain times and they said that fish weren't animals...

This, coincidentally, was about 2 days after that science class where you basically learn the various types of living things... plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, virus, prion... Guess what? Fish are definitely animals!

Try again Smile

My fault. Edit that: No meat on Friday. My grandma told me that it used to be strict. No meat any Friday. Then, they relaxed the policy to no meat on Friday during lent. Then I see everyone eating fish... which is meat. I still don't get it.

I don't know if it is meat(as in beef, pork, hog mauls and such) or a different catagory of meat like chicken, pheasant, black birds, and such, but if you ate it on Friday or on Wenedsday(during Lent), you were going to hell, period.

And it stands as one of the most ridiculous religious bans in history.

I concur. I'm starting a religion where eating roast pig and t-bone steaks is a requirement! The Pope should be taking notes.
