You're probably not following this story in Washington or Greene, but some crazy people did some crazy chit in Westmoreland County. Word is that the female victim turned one of the guys down for a date. An source inside the Westmoreland County court house  tells me that five of these people are mental health cases, and familiar faces within the courthouse walls. There will be a press conference at 1PM today.
Sick people.

Six people — three men and three females — have been charged in connection with the torture and killing of a Mt. Pleasant woman whose body was found in a trash can outside Greensburg Salem Middle School on Thursday.
Police said the victim, identified in court papers as Jennifer Daugherty, was stabbed multiple times and had been beaten.
The six suspects are: Robert Loren Masters Jr., 36; Ricky V. Smyrnes, 23; and Melvin Knight, 20, all of 428 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg; Peggy Darlene Miller, 27, 3 Carnegie Ave., Mt. Pleasant Township; Amber C. Meidinger, 20, of 103 Indiana Drive, Building O, Greensburg; and a 17-year-old Greensburg teen.
The six were arraigned on charges including criminal homicide, kidnapping, aggravated assault and conspiracy and are being held without bond in the Westmoreland County Prison.
Police said the woman was stabbed while she was in the second-floor apartment where Masters, Smyrnes and others live. Her hair had been shaved, according to an arrest warrant affidavit, and she was bound with Christmas decorations and clothing.
Authorities said Smyrnes, Knight, Meidinger, Masters, Miller and the juvenile female all admitted involvement in the crime.
Police did not offer a motive.
Smyrnes said he and Knight carried Daugherty in the plastic garbage can to the parking lot outside the middle school, according to court papers. Knight admitted to stabbing Daugherty in the chest, side and neck, according to court papers.
Police said they found various items, apparently used to wipe up blood, in the attic of the North Pennsylvania Avenue apartment.
Daugherty was also beaten with a towel rack, vacuum cleaner hose and a crutch, police said.
Daugherty's age and address were not available.
Authorities said they determined Daugherty's identity after family members came to the police station to speak with officers. Family later identified Daugherty through a photograph, police said.
According to family members, Daugherty had been missing since she left Mt. Pleasant Monday by bus. Family members told police that they tried to call Daugherty by cell phone, but she did not answer.
Family said Daugherty went to the County Market in East Huntingdon Monday to take a bus to Greensburg. She was carrying jeans and some other clothing in a small bag.
Police said they went to the North Pennsylvania Avenue apartment building and were told by the first-floor residents that they had heard a tussle and a "heavy bam" Wednesday evening from an upstairs apartment.
On Thursday, Catina Headen told police that she discovered her plastic garbage can missing from her North Pennsylvania Avenue residence.
Police have scheduled a news conference at 1 p.m..

I saw about the body on the news last night, but didn't know they had suspects in custody yet.

This is why we shouldn't abandon the death penalty. If these "people" are guilty of doing what they're accused of, they should be gassed so that there's no chance of them ever getting out into society again.

I like how the landlord refers to his building as “a revolving door of colorful renters.” I guess it would be too much to ask for him to rent to decent people.

I dunno...Gassing or electrocution or lethal injection just seems like such a waste of human life..
Release them at the bottom of a hill 500 yards away, tell them to run for it, and let Army snipers get some real life training...Or better still, use them as test cases for cancer experiments
