Yinz inspired me - last night when i went to make dinner what did i find in the fridge by some Hot Italian Sausage! Cooked it up & served it on rice - the LA duo in our home thought it was awesome. It was good - nom nom.

Glad to hear it turned out well. I use so much sausage in my cooking that my wife is convinced that every recipe I own has at least some sausage in it. Tomorrow I'm making chili ... with sausage.

Just finished making a Dutch Oven full, use about 50/50 ground pork and ground round.

Anyone use "cumin" when they cook. Tried some in a small bowl of this chili I set aside, but couldn't tell .

If God made anything better than sausage he kept it for himself!

I'm going to develop a new recipe: sausage-stuffed sausage. Wink

Bus, I used cumin and a good chili powder in mine, along with some red pepper flakes and a little cayenne. I used a pound of ground sirloin and a pound of sweet Italian sausage. I can smell it now. Almost dinnertime.

You do like your chili hot, I see, how much cumin do you use?

I think I used a tablespoon a cumin and five teaspoons of chili powder. Even with the cayenne and red pepper flakes, it was still only medium hot. I don't care for things that are so spicy that all you taste is the spice. That's why I like that American Foods hot sausage. They don't overdo it.
