Greasy as hell, but tasty. The potatoes are epic. Cash only, though. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

SSSS, if you don't like Frank and Shirley's, bring me your receipt and I'll reimburse you. Bus, I don't get out much for breakfast. I love the Homestead breakfast at Bob Evans, which consists of sausage or bacon, two eggs, home fries, a cup of sausage gravy and two freshly baked biscuits. Yeah, you'll want a nap right afterward. I hear good things about the old Dog House restaurant, which is on the left-hand side on Jefferson Avenue, about 100 yards before you get to the light at Henderson. It sits back in, so you have to watch for it. _________________

Had b'fast at the Dog House about a month ago-still greasy and still goooood.
SOmeone mentuioned Uniontown-drive just a bit further-go past nemacolin Woodlands-there is a little diner on theright called Lone Star-hands down the best breakfast anywhere!
Adam's Pine does a mean Sunday brunch too. I need a designated driver when I go there and there is no alcohol involved!
amom-you are right about the grease! I always said that is why the uptown Shorty's is better than Wolfdale-the grease on the older grill _________________

They couldn't get away with this now, but my mother said that when she was a kid, there was a big cat that slept in the front window next to the grill. I always contend it's the ambient filth that gives dogs from the downtown location more flavor. I just might need to go there for lunch on Saturday. _________________

It is either the filth on the grill or the sweat on John's arm as he lathers the chili on! _________________

All this talk about breakfast made me hungry for it so I went to Original House of Pancakes and got a belgian waffle, thick cut bacon, and a couple eggs. The bacon was seriously like steak thick. It was ridiculously good. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |
