I'd say about a ton! _________________ "If by a 'Liberal' they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties ... if that is what they mean by a 'Liberal,' then I’m proud to say I’m a 'Liberal.'" ~ Senator John F. oh, that was Big Ben's girl friend, never was jealous of Ben's gridiron skills, and most certainly not of his Reno, Nevada EXTRACURICULAR ROMPS, but that angel being his and not mine did have an adverse effect on me. |

Bus, I didn't see an ingredient list, but I would categorize it as a mild hot sausage. It's not the kind that burns your mouth from overly heavy spices. It's really the best I've had in ages. They also had some nice looking steaks, kielbasa, etc. _________________

I'm not sure how you cook yours, Bus, but I coiled the whole length of the sausage in a skillet, poured water about two-thirds of the way up the sausage and cooked it on medium heat for about an hour, flipping it once and adding a little water at that point. Then I drained the liquid, browned it and added two jars of those peppers in tomato sauce (which they don't have at the meat store; had to get them at THE Giant Eagle). Served it over boiled rice. I don't eat them in buns anymore, because all that bread just takes up room that could be better served with more sausage. _________________

and that Reno indescretion , she is letting that go???
Should at the very least bounce that big butt off of the Big Ben's head a few times to remind him not to do "bad' again; then there are those concussions to consider and we wouldn't want to render him a total idiot should his skull get compressed in one of those flab wrinkles I guess |

Do mine exactly the same way and get an extra benefit because a lot of the "fats" get boiled out. Make about 6 quarts of sauce every now and then with spices etc, and can them to have for when I need them. The sauce gets better when the spices all blend together after a bit.
But making sausage I'm afraid is soon going to be a thing of the past like hand crank starters on cars. Both are so hard to find these days. |

Thanks Prof, shouldn't be surprised since a lot of places have gone as the years go by. |

Bus, do you remember Weber's at the top of Lincoln Hill, just before Club 40? _________________

No, the only Weber's I knew was the furniture store on East Chestnut??? We bought quite a few things from there.
Uh, wasn't there a sporting goods store on Main Street named Weber's? I think that was Weber's. The 7-8 years I had Little league we gave them a lot of business. |

National Store may have been across the street from Weber's , I know there was a sporting goods store across from Weber's and down a few buildings. |

Bus, I was just going through my sales slips to reconcile my checkbook, and I noticed that I paid just under $9 for that whole round of hot sausage. It's the best bargain in Washington. I just had the leftovers today. Mmmmm, mmmmm, good. _________________
