I was watching an episode of "Cops" tonight. Or, as BB calls it, home movies. A heroin addict and his heroin addict girlfriend were getting arrested for, go figure, buying heroin, and the guy was sporting an 84 Lumber T-shirt. Gotta love that free advertising. _________________

That's what I was watching too!!! _________________ "If by a 'Liberal' they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties ... if that is what they mean by a 'Liberal,' then I’m proud to say I’m a 'Liberal.'" ~ Senator John F. And sometimes the ladies, too. BB, good to have you back. Sorry about the joke. It just slipped out. And Ana, I'm beginning to think we're having a Vulcan mind meld. _________________

It was definitely better. And it does seem like the creepy factor has gone up a notch this year. I'm still thinking that the overall talent level is starting to go down. Maybe the really, really talented people have already taken their shots in previous seasons and it's just inevitable that there's a decline. I'm hoping that some of the people they haven't shown us who are going to Hollywood are better than some of the ones we have seen. I'm also afraid that this year they're going too much for the people's stories instead of their talent. The last guy who auditioned, the one who had grown up in foster care, was good, but IMHO he wasn't as good as they made him out to be. There are people more talented than him in Washington, Pa., and definitely in Buckhead. _________________

You're absolutely right, Brant! Katy Perry was actually a good judge and I was glad that she said that people shouldn't be put through bc of their personal stories. Avril Lavigne was annoying, especially when said no to that guy bc he has kids. Again, that's personal and since when is that a problem on AI? I think this may be AI's last year! YES. The world would be a better place if people would sit down and read a book. Brant, read Infinite Jest. That'll fill up your year. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

I've got a stack of books I need to get to. If I'm every laid up like Jimmy Stewart in "Rear Window," maybe I can get to them. _________________
