Yeah, I'm not much for those metal grate bridges, especially over water. _________________

In 1976 I drove across the SUNSHINE BRIDGE that went over Tampa Bay( the bay of water), it was 10-15 miles? of grates and my 12 year old daughter was so scared she shuddered and bawled the whole time.
I wanted to also, but I was driving. Reurn trip was up the middle of that state, that was nerve racking. |

That Chesapeake Bay bridge is the one that gets me. As I recall, part of it goes underwater, which really creeps me out. And the above-water part isn't my favorite either. When I'm done with that ride, you'd need a hammer and chisel to pry my hands off the wheel. _________________

I don't mind bridges or tunnels... but I HATE HATE HATE driving in the left hand lane when there is that wall 4 inches from the side of my car... after a while, I am almost to the point where I want to say "eff it" and "ride the wall"... just let the car ease over until we are driving and "leaning" on the wall for guidance... and I will just get new doors and quarter panels when we get home _________________ The end is nigh! E, I did that once, from the passenger seat, with the driver passed out... The sparkling light show was amazing, as was the look on the
faces of the friends in the back seat...Coincidentally, it was heading eastward out of the Wheeling tunnel...We made it to the weigh station and slept it off _________________ where-ever you get it - there you have it. - Anon. |
