We were told once by our internet provider that sunspots were causing the slow down. I asked the customer service rep how she could actually say that with a straight face! Rolling Eyes

Yes, I have just internet. I don't want or need a landline and I get all the TV I care for via digital antennae (plural - one for each TV).

Fios is getting closer to me, what I was asking you was: Can you get the internet without having to buy their phone service?

Also the "digital antennae ", I was searching for some information about that yesterday but could only get places that want to sell you all kinds of antennas.

Now I heard on network news that there is a bill in Congress that, if it passes, will do away with any and all over the air tv signals . I have no idea who would suggest needing a bill like like this, but if Congress considers passing it, then I am sure it is to benefit we Americans. God, and Congress, in their infinite wisdom, knows we Americans need to be protected.

Anyhow, this cable, internet, and phone is getting too expensive on the up side, and the service is getting poorer is the downside.

You don't need phone service to get fios or cable internet.

I haven't had a landline phone since 2002
