When I watch Subway commercials, I always wonder why my sandwiches don't look anything like the ones they show on TV. Wink

Did you guys watch the food network challenge "Food Photography?"

It was all about plating dishes for photo shoots... half that chit is either NOT food... or it's food that you would NEVER want to eat... You would think that if it looked that pretty, it would taste good, but none of what they produced, sans salad bits, would have been safe to eat, imho Smile

True! I used to work at an advertising agency & I know that they did weird things to the food to make it look good for commercials.

It was a small agency that catered mostly to the Hispanic community, so I wore many hats. I was the owner's assistant, helped write & produce ads/jingles, did voiceovers & sang jingles. I even appeared on camera in a couple of commercials!

Or when I used to buy toys for the kids when they were little, after the ad on tv Wink showing the race cars running perfectly on the track, the rockem-sockem robots never falling, tipping, pefect punching, etc. as with all of the ad toys that lured the children.

BUT,When you get them set up at home, sonofaguns don't function as well a the TV version?

Brant,I think your sandwich and the toys come in home versions and tv versions.

If I would have turned those kids over to foster care when they were little, The toy company would have had to set up in China when Mao was still alive and I could have saved so much money on useless toys.

Also Brant, do you think Jared really lost all that weight by just eating Subway's?

I think he lost all that weight by going to Subway, but not really eating it. I mean, when's the last time you went to Subway and still had an appetite after a few bites?

I love Subway, but the sandwiches I get from there wouldn't be conducive to weight loss, especially with the mayo and Italian dressing I have slathered on them. I'm guessing Jared ate a piece of bread with lettuce on it. BTW, and totally unrelated, I just wanted to tell E that Ukrops sold out to Giant.
