Occasionally, we host clients for meetings and when we do, there is always a spread of food. And inevitably, there are massive leftovers. And I eat them. And they are good.
Today's selection included a salad with a vinaigrette dressing, salt crusted bread with an olive tapenade, roasted sauteed potatoes and bell peppers, macaroni salad and chicken in a scalopini style sauce with mushrooms and capers.

Do you have to wear big boy clothes when you host clients? I hate that... When there is a client in the office, there is a 0% chance that I will interact with them (unless they are here to see me)...
For some reason, my boss thinks it's more fun to have "fun" food for things like that... like "oh, we can be pretentious every day, let's have burgers for our clients!"
Oh how I long for tapenade!

Lol. No, I have no dress requirements beyond "clothes required" and "don't look the fool." But I normally opt out of jeans for khakis when I know a client is coming, just to look like I take chit seriously.

That tie is from Men's Warehouse, thank you very much... and it's the SAME tie I wore to my wedding... albeit with a navy blue suit instead of today's charcoal...
