I'll probably check out Freestyles or Jose's sometime over Thanksgiving (I heard Maggie's isn't across from Freestyles anymore?). Auggie's on 19 is pretty cool... especially for the Steelers games. There is nothing wrong with the bar at the Union Grill. Definitely nothing wrong with the Texas Roadhouse, Applebee's, Fridays, Outback etc during happy hour. Theres nothing like a few pitchers of Miller Lite and few games of bowling at the Alpine or Rt 19 Bowl. I'm a big fan of the basement at the VIP... lot of pool tables and darts. Kopper Kettle has had some decent bands the last two times I was there. If my uncle was still drinking, I'd stop by the Arms Club or the VFW.

I don't even know where the Caberet West is. There are other places to have a few drinks with good friends.

I've only been in a "bar" once in my life... and that was for about an hour at Freestyles. I don't have much experience Smile

Cabaret is on chestnut street, Across from that dairy mart... sorta across the street from City Motors, near Tower Restaurant, about a quarter mile before eat n park.

Oh ok... by the Tower restaurant. I remember people telling me how much of a happening place that was in the 70's and 80's. I heard stories of Bruce Springsteen showing up to jam with Joe Grushecky.

Like... going to a place that serves alcohol, for the express purpose of drinking alcohol.

Normally, there is a long counter involved, upon which beverages and salty snacks may be resting... the lighting is normally poor, and sexualization occurs with relative frequency within a short amount of time after one leaves this establishment.

Smile

LoLz

I don't know how to describe it... I've never been to a "bar" except that one time Smile

Okay. For that purpose, I've been to a handful, most recently Bottleshop in Bridgeville.

I've been to hundreds, mostly in my younger days when I could've gotten my mail at a couple of them. Rarely had trouble in any of them.
