The Dumbo craps have been taking union dues money for political purposes ever since Raygun broke the unions, and what have they achieved????

Prospects for a health overhaul have faded. Even slimmer are the chances of achieving labor's chief goal, passage of a bill making it easier for unions to organize workers. A bipartisan jobs bill passed this week by the Senate drew tepid praise from the AFL-CIO president, Richard Trumka, who called it a "Band-Aid on an amputated limb" -- far short of what unions wanted.
This wasn't what unions expected a year ago after spending more than $400 million to help elect Obama and increase the size of Democratic majorities in the Senate and House.

The Unions are trying to get a bill passed that will do away with the NLBR overseeing/conducting the voting process. All that needs to be done is to sign the card calling for the vote, and if 51% sign, the union is in.
It was getting Democrat support in the House, and may still be. |

Sorry, Brant...I must agree with Phony. The power of onions does make you cry, and that makes it hard to read... So I think I should have a right to vote for or against them...

Me too, Brant, It was a crushing blow to organized labor and one that shocked Unions back into the world of reality when it needed a wake-up call.
The union members who assumed they were infallable also weakened the other labor unions and in a way, eased the path to jobs to be outsourced down the road.
But like Free, I want to have a vote as to whether or not I want any one representing me in my work place and not be a cow marching up to air hammer to get whacked in the skull.

If I remember correctly, Raygun's action ended that stupid steel workers' three month vacations......or something like that.
