|
|
From McClatchy: Quote: | WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama's job approval may be eroding nationwide, but in South Carolina, a state he lost in 2008, a new poll gives him higher numbers than the state's two Republican senators.
Nearly 48 percent of adults in the Palmetto State approve of Obama's performance as president, a Winthrop University poll found. In contrast, 39.4 percent of those surveyed approve of the job Sen. Lindsey Graham is doing, while 42.6 percent approve of Sen. Jim DeMint — one of Obama's harshest critics.
Nationwide, 51 percent of Americans approve of Obama's performance as president and 43 percent disapprove, the Gallup daily tracking poll showed Wednesday.
"I like the way he handles himself," said Jerald Bailey, a retired real estate appraiser in North Augusta, S.C., said of Obama. "I think he's doing a really great job. Our country is much better represented and has more esteem in the world than it used to." |

I'm going to laugh at you so goddamn hard for so long when he gets reelected. Seriously, four straight years of me reminding you at least once every day that you were wrong as chit. You're going to love it. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

Canada is wayyyy MORE liberal & socialist, so why would you move there? _________________ "If by a 'Liberal' they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties ... if that is what they mean by a 'Liberal,' then I’m proud to say I’m a 'Liberal.'" ~ Senator John F. I'm holding you to that too. If Obama gets reelected, your ass better be in Canada within a week. Oh, but don't drive through PA on your way up, cause I'm totally letting the cops in WashPa know you will be coming this way. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1.
