Also, just so you cats know, the forums weren't totally done on account of me being lazy and us not really having a lot of people on there. Now that we are in mid-exodus, its kinda lit a fire under my butt to get the last few things functional. The downside of this is there will be some off and on forum downtime probably over the next couple weeks. We're talking no more than an hour at a time and no more than once every two days or so. Please bear with the inconvenience as it won't be a regular thing.
I'm posting this in the new forums as well.

But I want to thank the OR for allowing us this free access to a vibrant and challenging community of clever and entertaining individuals. It was nice to discover that Washington County was not and will never be an intellectual wasteland. Your forum was entertaining, challenging, and more than a little addicting. I wish you could have found a way to make money off of it ( I figure Cy And E will find a way to remedy that oversight.) and thanks again to all those at the Observer-Reporter who worked so hard to keep it going long enough for all of us to form lasting friendships.
Two questions remain --
Not all the good people who are on this forum post everyday, and April 1st is coming soon. I would hate for them to be left behind in this biblical Bogsource Rapture. Is there a way to contact them..?
Second, if Brant and amom are not moderating or being censored, and not restricted by OR ties of civility, are we about to see some naked table dancing and blood-letting smack-downs..? I'm on board. I figure Brant as the Mohawk psychopath in the Road Warrior, as Humungous finally cuts his chains....Ahhhh Freedom !

Yes, I'm trying to figure out how to send a mass private message out. Most members ignore the private messages because they're usually spam. lol
Yes, Brant's gloves will be off and it's very important that everyone knows that his opinion does not represent the opinion of the Observer Publishing Company. Sorry Brant-ski, had to say it. lol I will be on the other forum after work daily and of course my opinion does not represent the Observer Publishing Company's opinion. Brant & I are the only employees of the OPC that come on here, I think. lol

So, I searched Rochestor, NY airport, saw what flights were going to Philly, searched Philly, saw two coming to PIT at 11:30 and concluded it was US Airways.
Called US Airways, explained the situation and in a matter of 2 minutes, they told me exactly where he was (boardinG Philly) and what time he would be in PIT.
It was his first ever journey he ventured with no family help.
Very impressive they did that for me.  |
